چکیده

The excited state dynamics of 1,3,5-trithia-2,4,6-triazapentalenyl TTTA was investigated by using femtosecond luminescence spectroscopy. The luminescence was measured in low and high temperature phases of TTTA between 1.42 and 1.2 eV. Only in the low temperature phase, we observed a broad luminescence band with a decay time constant of 1.6 ps in all energy range. This decay time constant suggests the existence of a large nonradiative relaxation path in the low temperature phase. Fast depolarization of the luminescence was also found, suggesting that an energy transfer between charge transfer excited states with different orientations are large and a few kinds of lattice distortion exist in this system.

Excited states in electron-transfer reaction products: ultrafast relaxation dynamics of an isolated acceptor radical anion.

The spectroscopy and ultrafast relaxation dynamics of excited states of the radical anion of a representative charge-transfer acceptor molecule, 2,3,5,6-tetrafluoro-7,7,8,8-tetracyanoquinodimethane, have been studied in the gas phase using time-resolved photoelectron spectroscopy. The photoelectron spectra reveal that at least two anion excited states are bound. Time-resolved studies show that ...

Ultrafast Luminescence Decay in Rhenium(I) Complexes with Imidazo[4,5-f]-1,10-Phenanthroline Ligands: TDDFT Method

The interpretation of the ultrafast luminescence decay in [Re(Br(CO)3(N^N)] complexes as a new group of chromophoric imidazo[4,5-f]-1,10-phenanthroline ligands, including 1,2-dimethoxy benzene, tert-butyl benzene (L4) and 1,2,3-trimethoxy benzene, tert-butyl benzene (L6), was studied. Fac-[Re(Br(CO)3L4 and L6] with different aryl groups were calculated in singlet and triplet excited states. The...

Red organic light-emitting radical adducts of carbazole and tris(2,4,6-trichlorotriphenyl)methyl radical that exhibit high thermal stability and electrochemical amphotericity.

Synthesis and characterization of new carbazolyl derivatives with a pendant stable radical of the TTM (tris-2,4,6-trichlorophenylmethyl radical) series are reported. The EPR spectra, electrochemical properties, absorption spectra, and luminescent properties of these radical adducts have been studied. All of them show electrochemical amphotericity being reduced and oxidized to their correspondin...

Ultrafast photo-induced charge transfer unveiled by two-dimensional electronic spectroscopy.

The interaction of exciton and charge transfer (CT) states plays a central role in photo-induced CT processes in chemistry, biology, and physics. In this work, we use a combination of two-dimensional electronic spectroscopy (2D-ES), pump-probe measurements, and quantum chemistry to investigate the ultrafast CT dynamics in a lutetium bisphthalocyanine dimer in different oxidation states. It is f...
